MML members Allison Butler, Nolan Higdon, and Ben Boyington, as part of the Project Censored & Media Revolution Collective, have published The Media & Me: A Guide to Critical Media Literacy for Young people (Seven Stories Press, 2022) - the first CML book specifically for young readers

 Key scholarship in media literacy: David Buckingham (Brill, 2021), focused on the scholarship and research of David Buckingham, a global leader in media literacy education and children’s and young people’s media cultures.

Grants awarded

Mass Media Literacy has been the recipient of 2016 Massachusetts Cultural Council Grants from the towns of Truro, Wellfleet, and Brewster in bringing Comprehensive Media Literacy Education to Nauset Regional High School.

Workshops and training

MML conducted a training for all of the 10th grade teachers at a Worcester, MA, high school. We followed up with the participating teachers for a post-training discussion of their classroom implementation and asked them to complete a detailed survey of their efforts.
